Walking on uneven ground used to put the fear of god in me but I have realised after two weeks in Central Australia that it’s been brilliant for my knee........

On a recent cycle with Cooper, I couldn't help but get irritated with his pedalling or to be more specific, his lack of pedalling. He took great pleasure in pointing out that it wasn't a race and that I should just chill........
Taking advantage of Samson getting out for a duck at cricket and not being given a scoring gig, I headed out on my bike having just changed my pedals back to a hardcore clip in variety.............
At the start of 2020, I wrote a list of knee resolutions. Included on the list were a few relating to my beloved bike and today one of them came true - I had my first post op stack..............
Not quite sure why I went, but off to the physio I went yesterday. It’s been 2 months since I last saw him..........

My fears were realised on 23 March when the gym closed. Realising it was coming, no matter how much I was in denial, a bosu ball had recently been added to my home gym collection..........
Deciding that I just needed to know, I braved a medical clinic and got a new referral to see my surgeon a few weeks ago.........
In a world gone crazy with "you know what", it was awesome to get out again on my bike today...........
Back on my road bike this week after a 3 year rest and an expensive service (and the bike cost a lot too!)...........
I honestly think my physio was as bored with me as I was with him, so I went and got myself a personal trainer..........
So it was back to my friendly witch doctor last week. In my eyes, she is a miracle worker............
Looking to release more hidden chi, I took myself off to see an acupuncturist last week...........
Even I’ve become bored with myself recently. Hamstrings shithouse, knee still swollen, sick of the gym, nothing to write about, no running allowed and even my physio doesn't motivate me. Blah blah blah.......
