Amazingly, I have managed to learn how to sail (despite a few lockdowns here and there) in a pandemic. No sour dough or knitting for me.............
I love sailing. I’m not that great at it but I want to be better. Not sure where this determination has come from, but I love being out on the water……....
So on Friday, I embarked upon a bit of a challenge and all off the back of a few Sprint classes at the gym.........
This year I finally enrolled in a learn to sail course. I fancied the idea of doing something that was new, rendering any comparison with my pre accident self, impossible..........
The pain started on my knicker line right between my legs, spreading across and ending at my hip. Yes, it was all very odd...........
I was completely hooked on going to the classes at the gym, making a vow to try them all and I did...........
Still considering setting up a home gym, I decided there was just one more thing to try first..........
Back in October, running started slow, as it did the last time I got back into it........
So here I am again listening to those four little words, “you can start running”.........
Waking up feeling that more could be done for my knee that didn’t just require patience, I booked in to see the Witch Doctor.............
Well, what a difference a few weeks back into the usual routine of life makes. Talk about rehab going into overdrive, backwards..........
